Day 01 Nairobi
Nairobi, ‘place of cool waters’ once a railhead, is now a colorful
modern City with spacious exotic tree lined avenues, superb parks
and the finest hotels.
Meet and assist on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
and transfer to Nairobi Safari Club or similar. Dinner and overnight
at the Hotel.
Day 02 Abardare National Park
After breakfast drive through the rich farming area to the Ark Lodge
in the Aberdare National Park. Lunch at the Lodge. In this range of
mountains everything is on a grand scale. Huge trees cover the lower
foothills. The perpetual and sometimes heavy rains fuel this
fairyland of awesome majesty and beauty - a unique ecosystem. Dinner
and overnight at the Ark Lodge or similar
Day 03 Lake Nakuru National
Park
After breakfast drive via Thomson's Falls to Lake Nakuru National
Park. Here is the most awesome bird spectacle in the world, a
million flamingo, transform the shores of the lake to that of a
delicate pink hue. The sight of thousands of bright pink birds as
they collect against the soda-crusted shoreline is striking. The
National Park here is home to many mammals including Leopard, Lion
and Rhino.
After lunch enjoy a game drive through this awesome park. Dinner and
overnight at the Lion Hill Lodge or similar.
Day 04 Masai Mara
After breakfast drive via Narok to the Masai Mara National Reserve,
the most popular game park in Kenya. Here, wildlife is abundant and
the gentle rolling grassland ensures that animals are never out of
sight. This is one of the few areas where you are likely to see the
big five - Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino, Lion and Leopard. It is perhaps
the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in
the same super-abundance that existed a century ago. Lunch and
afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Camp or similar.
Day 05 Masai Mara
All meals at the Camp. Full day game drives at the Masai Mara
Reserve. Overnight at Mara Simba Lodge or similar.
Day 06 Nairobi
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast return to the Hotel in Nairobi
for lunch. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the
Nairobi Safari Club or similar.
Day 07 Departure
Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure. Lunch at Hotel. After lunch
transfer to Airport for departure flight to Colombo.
