Sarajevo – The fastest changing City in Europe. Many faces to see and many places to be !
Sarajevo is a city that is etched in the archives of history. It became a city in the hands of the Ottomans, who for centuries built Sarajevo into one of the most remarkable oriental cities in Southern Europe. The beautiful Ottoman style mosques and architecture dot the skyline and the old quarters still maintain an authentic Turkish carsija with oriental sweet shops, cafes and traditional Bosnian foods. In the same quarters and even on the same street corner you will find the Catholic Cathedral, not too far from there an Orthodox church, and just around the bend a Jewish synagogue. The Austro-Hungarian empire also left a significant mark on the cultural, historical and architectural heritage of Sarajevo and much of the city center will remind you of Vienna. The National Museum and Library were built during the short Astro-Hungarian rule here. It brought the tramway system and many of the most remarkable buildings in town.
Afternoon travel to Mostar – The Gem of Herzegovina.
Mostar is an extraordinary town in every sense of the word ! Its beauty goes far beyond its ancient “Old Towne” and the old bridge that once stood uniting the city over the emerald Neretva River.

The Mediterranean climate makes it the warmest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its days are mostly sunny with clear blue skies and the Neretva River turns the dry arid surroundings green with figs, kiwis, grapes, pomegranates, rosehips and even mandarin and lemons.
Return to Medjugorje for dinner and overnight stay.
