DAY 02 Kunming
Kunming is the capital city of Yunnan province a historically and culturally famous city, the provincial seat of Yunnan and the political, economic cultural, scientific and communications center of the province has a long history of over 2.400 years. Situated in the middle part of Yunnan – Guishou Plateau, it is an extensive plain surrounded by mountains in the three directions. In Kunming, there is neither sweltering summer nor severe winter. The climate of all the four seasons is agreeable. Hence, the title the City of Eternal Spring. There are 4 districts and 8 counties under its jurisdiction, with a total population of over 3.3 million people of 12 nationalities, including the Han, Yi Miao, Hui, Hani and other people. After breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour of Kunming. Today we are ready to explore this mysterious land. We will leave our hotel after early breakfast and our first visit is to the majestic Stone Forest, which lies 12 kms to the southeast of Kunming. This world famous Stone Forest is regarded as one of the natural wonders in China, which is made up of a group collection of bizarre shaped limestone soaring to the skies.

DAY 03 -Kunming/ Guilin
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, sightseeing in Kunming at Western Hills…. Where you will have a bird’s eye view of the province’s biggest Lake Diachi, and finally set your feet on the Dragon Gate, which was carved out of rock.

After lunch visit the Provincial Museum. Late afternoon, leave Kunming for the airport to board the flight to Guilin. Upon arrival in Guilin, Meet / assist at the airport and transfer to a Luxury Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 04 Guilin
After breakfast leave for a Boat Cruise down the Li River and Experience its colorful river going-on and take in the
River’s scenery of hills and peaks with names like Elephant Trunk hill, Nine Horses Hill and Lotus Peak.
Lunch on boat.
Afterwards, alight at Yang shun for a coach back to Guilin.
Arrive at hotel dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 05 Guilin / Xian  
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, visit and gasp in wonder at the Reed Flute Cave and their fascinating formations. A cave is found in the middle of Guangming Mountain in the northwestern suburbs of Guilin. Legend had it that the reed growing by the cave’s mouth could be made into flutes, thus the Cave’s name “Reed Flute Cave.” There are mote than 70 inscriptions written in ink on the wall inside the cave dating back to A.D.792 during the Tang Dynasty. The horse hoof-shaped cave has many stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains and stone flowers in numerous forms. The cave is called an “Art Palace of Great Nature.”

After lunch proceed to the airport for the flight to Xian. Arrive in Xian. Meet / assist at the airport and transfer to Luxury Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 06 Xian
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, a full day tour with a visiting the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, which is regarded as the 8th wonder of the world. It has attracted Visitors, Travelers, heads of state from many parts of the world for its special integrity, since it was excavated in 1974. The terracotta army consists of different figures, such as, Generals, Armour-clad Soldiers, Robed Soldiers and Kneeling Archers. In 1980, two teams of large bronze Chariots and Horses was also unearthed on the Western Side of Emperor Qin Shihunsg’s Mausoleum. There are about 6000 life size clay Warriors and Horses, which are arranged in the shape of a square in this place.

Also visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Hauqing Hot Springs. Today you will have more ideas about Chinese history after visiting the Banbo Museum. It is a typical site of a Matriarchal Clan Community in the Yellow River Valley.
Return to hotel for dinner and over night stay.

DAY 07 Xian / Shanghai
After breakfast leave for Xian airport for the flight to Shanghai. Arrive in Shanghai meet / assist at the airport and transfer to hotel. After lunch visit Shanghai’s most famous street, The Bund, beside the river with many of its building dating from pre-war times.
Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 08 Shanghai / Beijing  
Breakfast at hotel. Sightseeing today will include the Mandarin’s Garden and Jade Buddha Temple.
Lunch en-route.
After lunch proceed by domestic flight to Beijing. Meet / assist at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 09 Beijing
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, today brings the unsurpassed thrill of climbing the Mighty GREAT WALL, the only man-made object on earth that is visible from orbiting spacecrafts.
Lunch en route
After lunch visit the Panda Zoo. Enjoy an Acrobatic Show in the evening.
Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 10 Beijing
The Temple of Heaven is situated in the Southern part of the city in Chongwen district. In ancient China, the emperor was regarded as the “Son of Heaven”, who administered matters on the earth on behalf of the heavenly authority. To show respect to the heaven, ceremonies for sacrifices to heaven were extremely important to the emperor. The temple was built for the worship of heaven and prayers for good harvests. A double wall encloses the temple. The upper northern half is circular, representing Heaven and the southern half is square, representing the Earth, coincident with the Chinese saying of “Round Heaven and Square Earth”. After breakfast, embark on a full day tour to Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world, Palace Museum, where 24 emperors lived and ruled China.

After lunch visit the Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace.
Special dinner at Dai Village Restaurant with singing and dancing show.
Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Summer Palace Situated in the western outskirts of Haidian District, the Summer Palace is 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from central Beijing. Having the largest royal park and being well preserved, it was designated, in 1960 by the State Council, as a Key Cultural Relics Protection Site of China.
Containing examples of the ancient arts, it also has graceful landscapes and magnificent constructions. The Summer Palace is the archetypal Chinese garden, and is ranked amongst the most noted and classical gardens of the world. In 1998, it was listed as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

DAY 11 Beijing
Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure for your own activities such as shopping etc,
(lunch not included).
Special Peking Roast Duck dinner.
Return to hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 12 Depart Beijing  
Breakfast at hotel. After early breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Bangkok.

DAY 02 Beijing / Xian
After breakfast at hotel a full day tour will take you out of the city to visit to two of Chine’s most important and impressive sights; The Great Wall, over 2,000 years old and 500 km long. The only man-made object on earth that is visible from orbiting spacecrafts and the impressive Ming Tombs of ancient Emperors. Lunch en-route.
After lunch transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Xian. Arrive in Xian and meet / assist at the airport. Transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 03 Xian
Breakfast at hotel. Embark on a tour to the Bell Tower and the Big wild Goose Pagoda. After lunch tour to the Shaanxi Historical Museum, one of the best museum in China. Then stroll on the Ancient City Wall. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 04 Xian / Beijing
Breakfast at hotel. Embark on a tour to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, which is regarded as the 8th wonder of the world. There are about 6000 life size clay Warriors and Horses, which are arranged in the shape of a square in this place. Lunch en route.
After visiting Hauqing Hot Springs transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Beijing. Arrive in Beijing. Meet / assist at the airport and transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 05 Beijing
After breakfast embarks on a full day tour to Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world, the Forbidden City has been under the charge of the Palace Museum, whose extensive collection of artwork and artefacts were built upon the imperial collections of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

After lunch visit the Summer Palace, is the archetypal Chinese garden, and is ranked amongst the most noted and classical gardens of the world. Containing examples of the ancient arts, it also has graceful landscapes and magnificent constructions.
Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 06 Depart Beijing
After breakfast time is available for individual activities or shopping before the transfer to Shanghai airport for your return flight.

DAY 07 Arrive in Colombo.
