Day 1 : Arrive Beijing
Arrive in Beijing and transfer to the Hotel. Afternoon embark on a
tour to the Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is situated in
the southern part of the city in Chongwen district. In ancient
china, the emperor was regarded as the “ Son Of Heaven”, who
administered matters on the earth of behalf of the heavenly
authority. To show respect to the heaven, ceremonies for sacrifices
to heaven were extremely important to the emperor. Acrobatic show in
the evening. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 2 : Great Wall and Ming Tombs
Breakfast at Hotel. Full day tour to Great Wall eighth wonder of the
world and Ming Tombs ancient city the built from 1409 A.D – 1644 A.D
is where 13 empresses of the Ming (1368-1644) and their empresses
and concubines were buried. Afternoon lunch. Return to hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 3 : Tour to Beijing
Breakfast at hotel. Full day tour to Tian’ anmen Square in the
world’s largest city square . From the square, a bit walk to
entrance of the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City,
is a maze of palaces built between 1417 and 1420 as the residence of
the emperor and Summer palace. It is a most magnificent piece of
China’s exciting classical garden architecture. Afternoon lunch and
return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4 : In Beijing
In Beijing Breakfast at hotel. Full day at leisure for shopping.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Depart Beijing
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport to connect flight to
Colombo..
